Meet the Team

Pastor Marvin Poole

Marvin was born in Shreveport, LA to Len and Myrtis Poole. He was raised in various cities throughout the south, landing back in Shreveport for his early adult years. He was married to Angela on March 28, 1992. Marvin served as Youth Pastor & Children’s Pastor and evangelist until 1997 when he became pastor of what is now Souls Harbor Church. He is a gifted communicator whose ministry has touched the lives of many as he has traveled extensively around the nation. Marvin and Angela have 5 beautiful daughters: Holly, Heather, Haley, Hannah and Heidi. In his spare time, he enjoys various activities including hunting, fishing, snow skiing and anything the girls want to do! Marvin can be contacted via email at mpoole@thesoulsharbor.org.
